Through Connexions we are the key provider of impartial information, advice and careers guidance services to young people and their parents in the City of Manchester, Rochdale MBC, City of Salford and Tameside MBC.
Connexions is part of the integrated youth support services provided by those local authorities and is for all young people 13-19 regardless of their background or circumstances. Young people who have learning difficulties or disabilities can get support from Connexions until they are 25.
Our Connexions Advisers give impartial information, advice and guidance to the full range of young people. In addition they work closely with parents and carers as well as local learning providers and employers.
Our Information and Development teams work with and support local learning providers, and our Cnx2jobs Initiative team works with and supports employers.
Cnx2jobs is a vacancies website for young people across Greater Manchester and is jointly managed by Connexions Services in that area. The website provides a free service to young job seekers to find and apply for vacancies and for employers to ‘post’ their vacancies on the site.
